Let’s Go Hydro is an exciting new Water Sports and Alternative Accommodation Resort.
Let’s Go Hydro is an exciting new Water Sports and Alternative Accommodation Resort at Knockbracken Reservoir, a former Industrial Heritage site.
The attraction includes several new facilities for the local community, tourists and visitors. We provide an impressive outdoor experience, including an inflatable floating obstacle course as the main attraction, ideal for families and groups of all ages. The site also boasts an XXL Tower, slide and climbing wall, hurdles, wiggle disks, ramps, podiums and a floating trampoline. To offer a complete visitor experience, we also facilitate: Canoe Polo Park, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, a Leisure Beach, Lido and Ireland’s largest Cable Park.
This is alongside the support facilities which include a grandstand seating area, Sea Container Café and the regeneration of the existing Superintendents house into accommodation, central hub, café and meeting point for our guests. The resort also offers a range of alternative accommodation for individuals, families and large groups. Boasting a Glampsite for 40 overnight pods, a floating Lake Pod, Luxury Boat House, Safari Tent and Luxury Tent.
The site at Let’s Go Hydro offers a unique and exhilarating experience for day- trippers, overnight stays, families, beginner water sports enthusiasts and experts alike. The combination of adrenalin driven facilities, spectacular scenery and easy access makes it a must visit attraction for Belfast and Northern Ireland. The Reservoir falls within the Lagan Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a landscape recognised for its distinctive character and exquisite scenery. The design, development and construction of the site was continually assessed to ensure that works did not negatively impact the local landscape or existing wildlife.
Let’s Go Hydro is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. It is available to the public and governing bodies including Swim Ulster, Triathlon Ireland and The Canoe Association of Northern Ireland. The site has already hosted the Junior International Canoe Polo Championships in 2017 along with numerous Swimming and Wakeboard Championships.
In addition to this, Let’s Go Hydro offers a unique, high-quality tourist attraction and leisure facility that will benefit local, regional and national trade.
