This 15 acre natural lake is located in Newmarket on Fergus in County Claire and is stocked with up to 3,000 rainbow trout.
Rathlahine Trout Angling was first established in 1996. The lake is part of the Rosroe Lake and is stocked annually with two year old rainbow trout. This ensures that there is high quality fishing throughout the year.
Fly fishing and barbershook spinning are the methods of fishing allowed. Fishing is from dawn to dusk each day and bookings are necessary for weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
There is a bag limit of one fish and there are four 17ft rowing boats available with a limit of four people per boat.
