This guided walk will focus on Lisnabreeny during WW2.
This guided walk will focus on Lisnabreeny during WW2 exploring topics such as the former US military cemetery, the Belfast Blitz and anti-aircraft battery U3 and how GI's came to be replaced by refugees.
Lisnabreeny was one of the first sites acquired by the National Trust in Northern Ireland in 1938 and is home to the beautiful Cregagh Glen and Lagan College, the first post primary integrated school in Northern Ireland.
The meeting point for the tour is at the entrance to Cregagh Glen on the A55 just opposite the top of Cregagh Road. Meeting time is 10:00.
