Experience an exclusive tasting menu created by tomorrow’s culinary and hospitality leaders.
Abernethy butter, Carnbrooke Mourne lamb, Kilkeel mussels and Kilmegan cider are just some of the high-quality food and drink produce being offered as part of this exclusive dining experience in The Academy. Experience a taster menu developed on product provenance, celebrating local farmers and artisan producers.
With floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic views of St Anne’s Cathedral and Cathedral Gardens, The Academy restaurant is situated within the York Street campus of Ulster University. The Academy provides Ulster University Business students studying the BSc Hons degrees in Culinary Arts Management and International Hospitality Management with a unique and innovative environment to help develop their practical and managerial skills. Whilst the fabulous fare prepared by our students is well-known within Ulster University, to external diners The Academy restaurant must be Belfast’s best kept culinary secret.
The exclusive dining experience will not only involve a menu full of culinary creativity, you’ll also hear from our passionate students on the story behind their menu development along with special guest appearances from our local and treasured suppliers.
You’ll enjoy high quality and authentic food with memorable service, while supporting the next generation of culinary and hospitality leaders.
