Naas is a traditional parkland course set in the short-grass county of Kildare. It is situated on rolling terrain and tree-lined fairways. Naas Golf Club was founded in 1896 as a 9-hole course at Halverstown and moved to its current location in Kerdiffstown in 1940. The club changed its name in 1996 from the Kildare Golf Club to Naas Golf Club. In 2002 holes one and 11 through to 18 were redesigned by renowned architect Jeff Howes. Feature holes include the 11th and 17th, with their water features. Holes one, 13 and 15, with their bunkering and tree-lined fairways, make Naas a challenging but enjoyable course to play.
