Come along and welcome the first day of summer as the sun reaches its most northern point in the sky.

Enjoy the Summer Solstice at Davagh Observatory and Beaghmore Stone Circles where you will have a unique opportunity to experience the night sky as it is rarely viewed and as it would have been seen centuries ago by our ancestors. Enter into a whole new star-gazing experience to Mid Ulster. Learn about the fascinating history and significance of the stones. What’s more, you’ll be treated to local talents as we bring you back in time. Your trip to the darkest sky in Northern Ireland will draw to a close with light refreshments in the most tranquil of surroundings.
