Various Locations, Clonmel, Tipperary,

Over three days, Clonmel Applefest aims to celebrate the heritage, food and nature of Cluan Meala: the Vale of Honey with a range of creative, convivial and fun filled activities and events centering around the town's unique sense of place & history.

Clonmel Applefest is a new festival celebrating the unique "sense of place" emanating from Clonmel's special location along the river Suir & its heritage mix of industry & agriculture. We aim to celebrate this rich palette with tailor-made events featuring a wide range of outdoor and site-specific events around craft, food and the natural and build heritage of the 'Vale of Honey' catering for families, visitors and the food, nature and heritage afficionnado. The town's medieval heart, its cider heritage and the new Blueway are three of the festival's core locations where all things apple, food and biodiversity and much else are experienced first hand: interactive family-friendly craft activities, apple pressing, delicious local foods, a pop up biodiversity cabin, storytelling, a Spoken Word evening, talks and walks, tastings and a community Street Feast as well as the Bulmers installation 'down memory lane' are some of the many gems you can witness during our heritage-filled week-end.
