On Friday the 11th October Clonakilty Distillery and Executive Chef Alex Petit will be pairing whiskey and the best of local produce to create a supper that is sure to tickle the taste buds of those who have a grá for great whiskey and great food.
Clonakilty Distillery, a whiskey and gin distillery with a visitor experience and gin school located in the heart of Clonakilty, West Cork on the Wild Atlantic Way are teaming up with the Celtic Ross Hotel and their Executive Chef Alex Petit to create a whiskey pairing super menu. Triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and cut with the purest of water, there will be single batch, port cask and single grain whiskeys on the night served with a special four course menu devised by Alex, using the very best of West Cork's larder. Supper will be preceded by a Minke Gin reception and a little whiskey tasting lesson!
