No 7 Blackberry Glade is situated close to the centre of Arklow Town. Located on the mouth of the River Avoca . The town has a long seafaring tradition where the famous yatch used by veteran sailor Sir Frances Chichester, Gypsy Mouth 11, was built.
Arklow was renowned for its world famous pottery also.

Located in the garden of Ireland, it is an ideal location for touring, hill walking & sight-seeing or purely relaxing. Blackberry Glade is well appointed and offers the perfect base for a family or group to holiday in a peaceful and relaxing location. Arklow coast line is the ideal place for shore angling and seal watching at Kilmichael point. To the north there is the famous Brittas Bay ideal for swimming or simply walking the 3 kilometre beach where children can relax and play amongst the sand dunes.

Wicklow- the garden of Ireland offers spectacular scenery and provides a great variety of activities such as walking the Wicklow way, shore & course fishing and game angling, golf, horse riding & water sports.

St Kevin’s 6th century monastic site of the 7 Churches are a must for people interested in heritage. Wicklow Goal, Avondale House and Rossborough House are other areas of great interest. Powerscourt Estate at Enniskerry and the national garden centre are famous locations and worth including on a visit to the Arklow area.
