Clifden Station House, in the centre of Clifden, Connemara, Co Galway, has a selection of two- and three-bedroom four-star self-catering apartments. Each modern suite offers TV and DVD, telephone, microwave, fridge, hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The Clifden Station House Hotel Connemara is a modern hotel set around the old Clifden railway station in the heart of Connemara in County Galway. Located in the courtyard of the hotel, Clifden Station House Suites also offer a choice of two- and three-bedroom deluxe self-catering apartments for visitors.
Each suite is self-contained and has every modern convenience, including TV, Wifi, direct-dial telephone, microwave, fridge, hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The deluxe four-star apartments two-bedroom apartment consists of one master en-suite double bedroom, one double bedroom or one twin bedroom and a bathroom.
The three-bed unit consists of one en-suite double bedroom and either one double bedroom or one twin bedroom. There is also a third single room and another bathroom.
Living rooms all units have a pull-out double sofa-bed, suitable for two children under the age of 12 years. Baby travel cots are provided on request. The two-bedroom apartments are located on the lower ground level (five steps down) and upper ground level (ramped access) while the three bedroom apartments are on the upper level (up one full flight of stairs) and are two-storey.
If pre-ordered 48 hours prior to arrival, welcome packs can be provided with cereal, milk, butter, juice, tea, coffee and bread, ensuring no matter what time you arrive, you’ll have the essentials in.
Clifden Station House Suites are just a stone’s throw from the hotel’s dining, leisure and bar facilities, and guests have full complimentary access to all the hotel facilities. Another bonus to staying here is the hotel’s décor and surroundings. More than 70 years ago the last steam train departed from Clifden to Galway. Today the railway station, its station house platform and engine house have been magnificently restored and transformed into this hotel and courtyard apartment complex. It combines old brick and native oak, with quintessential Irish hospitality and all the facilities of a new international standard hotel.
