Photo Tours Dublin offers you a photo focused city walking tour in Dublin, Ireland. Your tour guide, John Brady, is a native of Dublin and lifelong photographer.

These guided photo tours of Dublin City take in optimal photographic locations and combine them with a photography workshop, helping you to capture Dublin. Each tour aims to provide you with new skills to assist you to expand your photography skillset and learn how to get the best out of your photography equipment.

The tours are designed for all photographers, irrespective of your camera gear, current level of skill or shooting styles. The objective is to offer you hands-on guidance and direction to help you on the path to understanding your equipment and how to get improved results to increase that wow factor in your photographs. With this in mind, the tours are limited to a maximum group size of five people. This is to allow time for one-to-one tuition as you move along the tour route.

While the tour is not a historical walking tour, there are stories to be shared about of many of Dublin's historical landmarks with you as you go along the route.

The morning tour route takes in the south-west area of Dublin City centre. On this tour, you will travel along the Liffey to the Ha’penny Bridge. Then head towards the cobbled streets of Temple Bar and stroll down to medieval Dublin at Wood Quay.

At this point you will be within the boundary of the old city walls. Christ Church Cathedral comes into view and from here you will visit St. Audoen’s Church and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

This tour will pass through streets of terraced houses which contrast with the Georgian buildings on the afternoon tour. The tour will then return back past Dublin Castle and City Hall. The tour finishes near the meeting point.

The afternoon tour route takes in the south-east area of Dublin City centre. On this tour you start with a visit to Trinity College, entering through the main entrance door from College Green. You will leave Trinity behind and head towards the centre of politics, Dáil Éireann. St. Stephen’s Green will provide a break from the busy streets as you head towards the Grand Canal before you take in the Georgian Squares of Dublin.

The tour takes in two of the Georgian squares. Along the route the tour passes many of Dublin’s historical buildings. The tour revisits Trinity College and finishes back at the main entrance, just a stone's throw from the meeting point.

The tours are based around a time of two hours and the additional time is to allow for an overrun so as not to add time pressure resulting in a rushed tour.
