The Knockdrum Stone Fort can be found in County Cork, just 1km east of Castletownshend. It is a circular, hilltop fort that underwent repairs sometime before 1860.

The round fortification has a wall that measures about 29m in diameter and stands 2m high. At the entry, there is a sentry chamber, while the interior features a pillar stone with a cross on it and the foundations of a square building.
