Two rock legends bring a stellar summer show to the iconic grounds of Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Don't miss Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds with Patti Smith.

One of the best loved post-punk bands of any era, the Aussie rock group led by frontman Nick Cave is known for its explosive live performances, dramatic lyrics and dark and stormy musical aesthetic. Formed after the split of cult group The Birthday Party in the early 80s, the Bad Seeds have blazed an influential trail through rock music for more than 30 years, resulting in sell-out shows wherever they go.

Songsmith, author and artist, the "punk poet laureate" Patti Smith is a force to be reckoned with. An acclaimed songwriter since she began recording and performing in 1975, Smith is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as well as a Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres at the French Ministry of Culture, and her live performances - raw, intimate, and masterful - set her apart from any other artist working today.

For this very special show the two will share a double bill that is sure to knock your socks off.
