Both events are held in the potato harvest hub and these festivals are very popular among tourists and locals alike, offering visitors the opportunity to re-discover the rural aspect of the land.
The potato festivals are a wonderful day out for the whole family, with many savoury potato-based traditional gourmet dishes available. If you’re daring enough you can try potato cinnamon ice-cream and a potato cocktail at the Malta Qrendi Potato and Agrarian festival.
