The Vauxhall International North West 200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event.

With 3 days of practice and racing, 100 riders, 100k spectators and speeds of up to 209mph the NW200 is one of Northern Ireland’s top sporting events and one of the world’s fastest road races.
In conjunction with the Vauxhall International 2018 NW200 Causeway Coast and Glens have organised a series of events for all the family.

The Vauxhall International North West 200 Race Week Festival which runs from Sunday 13th to Saturday 19th May features exhibitions; family fun days; charity cycles; mini moto cycling; car boot sales; veteran, vintage and classic vehicle displays as well as special guests and music entertainment.

On Wednesday 16th May, Family Motor Fest is a free event taking place at the East Strand, Portrush. From 18:30 hours a programme of stunt shows including Broke FMX Freestyle Bikes; Two Brother’s Stunt Team; Trialstars Trials Show and simulators. In addition, the Steve Parrish Madtour is a colourful and entertaining look at Steve Parrish’s career. There is an admission charge for this event of £12.

This year’s music entertainment includes The Unusual Suspects and Cellar Door. There will also be opportunities to meet the stars of the NW200 for autographs and photographs.

The festival week will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display at the Crescent in Portstewart.
