The Hunted Hog in Castlemartyr is a cosy little pub offering refuge from the rigours of daily life. The traditional pub is known for its warm and friendly atmosphere, live Irish music, inviting character and mix of both locals and visitors.

A time-worn local, The Hunted Hog offers an extensive choice of modern Irish food daily from noon until 20:00, from a light snack right through to your evening meal the pub’s chef uses local produce and flair in creating a wide variety of delicious dishes, all at affordable prices.

With its rustic wooden furniture and cosy nooks and crannies inside, The Hunted Hog makes for an excellent pub experience when visiting the historic village of Castlemartyr. The pub has a great selection of beer and cider, including some fine craft selections to choose from and is the place to be for live sport, showing all the big games in GAA, soccer & rugby.

The Hunted Hog is a loved local pub for all ages, serving plenty of character. Call in and sit yourself down by the open fireplace and soak up the atmosphere. The pub thrives upon the time-honoured pub activity of conversation.

The Hunted Hog can host any party for numbers up to 200 people.

The very best of local musicians play at The Hunted Hog on weekends. Call in to hear a great band in session. Musicians are welcome to join the sessions as the pub runs an open house.

If you want to have an impromptu session, feel free to pull up by the fire and enjoy the welcome.

The Hunted Hog also has one of the finest beer gardens in East Cork, attracting large crowds during the busy summer season.

Outdoor seating by the Kiltha River provides a beautiful backdrop. In summer, life decants onto this small terrace above the river, idyllic for summer drinking.
