The Blackwater Valley Cycle Route

The Blackwater Valley Cycle Route is a most interesting route that starts in the historic Heritage Town of Youghal, County Cork and ends in Killarney, County Kerry. Cyclists can of course join the route anywhere along the way.
The Blackwater Valley Cycle Route passes through the Duhallow Region beginning in Youghal, County Cork and ending in Killarney, County Kerry taking in the beauty of the famous Blackwater River Valley. The total distance is approximately 156km/97miles.
The route is divided into four sections and the endpoint of these sections has been influenced by the availability of overnight accommodation in the general area.
