See what Ireland has in store for you
Thinking of spending a few days in Donegal? Wonderful, as Donegal's hidden secret was confirmed recently by the iconic travel magazine, National Geographical as a ‘land that feels undiscovered’. Donegal locals are proud and excited to have been awarded the "Coolest Place to visit this year" by the same magazine. ‘With a weather-nibbled coast spotted with sea stacks, Blue Flag beaches and offshore islands’ we are ready in Donegal to welcome our visitors from all over the world. Donegal Manor is a private 4 star guest house located ideally just 2km from the centre of vibrant Donegal Town, the gateway to discover the most Northerly slice of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Our mission is to ensure that our guests relax and enjoy a truly Donegal experience you will never forget. Donegal Manor offer all guests boutique hotel style rooms with the informality of a B&B. Guests come from all over the world, some are more than happy to book one of our cosier standard rooms and others prefer a more spacious room and a fridge and so book one of our larger deluxe rooms. Regardless the choice of room all our guests can experience a delicious breakfast made with great care. Families and groups are very welcome and we look forward to meeting new and past guests again this year. Donegal Manor is a great place to base yourself if you want to discover the Northwest. Many guests travel as far as Giants Causeway for the day and back again. We are located within an hour of many iconic visitor attractions, including Slieve League, Glenveigh National Park and Omagh American Folk Park. Food is an important part of Donegal Manor. Breakfast is our speciality and its a relaxing affair, on wet, colder days, breakfast is served in front of a roaring stove fire and on sunnier days breakfast can be served on the patio. Our cold buffet is lovingly prepared for you with home made fruit compotes and our own selection of freshly baked breads and cakes. We even share our recipes with guests when asked. Even our preserves are all made in house. Dinner reservations can be made for one of the many casual restaurants in Donegal Town or at one of our fine restaurants in Harvey's Point or Solis Lough Eske Our Bake School is open to individuals / couples / groups and specialise in organising Vintage Tea Parties Cookery Classes. .
