See what Ireland has in store for you
Few licensed premises in Ireland can claim to have a more historic and romantic location, amid the panoramic beauty of the west than Cronin’s Sheebeen. Standing gracefully in monumental fashion, with its olde world thatched roof. It creates an idyllic rendezvous that provides a continental style haven of enchantment. Proprietors Colm and Simon Cronin have, with great attention to detail, created a unique identity which is Cronin’s Sheebeen where they hope you will find the constantly relaxed and unhurried ambience always enticing. Dark wood features, cushioned bench settees, open fires, stained and leaded glass windows create a traditional mood. Various informative, fish identification and other nautical charts, set a decidedly sporting mood along with a selection of local sketches, relevant bric a brac and photographs of various land marks and boating crafts further adorns the walls throughout the premises. Food also plays a very important part in Cronin’s Sheebeen with an extensive offering of exotic seafood and other dishes that are elaborate in taste and presentation. The menu proffers such delicacies as fresh Clew Bay lobster, fish pie, lemon sole and seared swordfish (when available) amongst others. Each and every dish is fastidiously prepared from the head chefs own innovative recipes. The head chef oversees all aspects of all catering in Cronin’s Sheebeen and insists that only choice fresh quality produce is used at all times. Specials are served each evening also. Cronin’s Sheebeen is a multi-award winning bar and restaurant for its food and hospitality. Check out the website for full details.
