Ms Evelyn Corcoran
A warm welcome awaits you at the Waterloo House luxury guesthouse in the heart of Georgian Dublin. It comprises two Georgian houses, refurbished to a superb standard, retaining original features, offering unique atmosphere, style and elegance.
Waterloo House has 17 bedrooms, all are ensuite. Many rooms have views over the garden. All rooms are quiet and you're more likely to wake to birdsong than to city noises. Rooms are provided with TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board. Free newspaper and WiFi for guests are also included.
Waterloo House can accommodate disabled guests and there is a lift to all floors and to the parking lot. There is also free off-street parking for guests. Cribs, cots and high chairs are available.
Breakfast is downstairs in the comfortable dining room. There are tables in the attached conservatory to enjoy the sun and garden. The bird feeders in the garden are kept well stocked so you'll probably enjoy a 'flying visit'. The breakfast menu includes a full Irish breakfast with eggs, sausages, white and black pudding, rashers, fresh baked bread and Irish butter, the world's finest. The catch of the day, usually salmon or kippers, is available. So are fresh croissants which are baked daily. French toast, waffles, porridge, cereals, fresh fruit and dried fruits are all available for your delectation.
Located in Dublin city centre the restaurants of Baggot Street are a two minute walk and Landsdowne Road Rugby Ground is an easy five minute walk. St Stephen's Green and Grafton Street are a comfortable 15 minute walk along bustling Baggot Street. The National Art Gallery, National Museums and National Concert Hall are also a short 10 minute stroll and the Royal Dublin Showgrounds (RDS) is also within walking distance. The guesthouse is on a quiet, residential street with gardens on both sides so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle when you want it, then retreat to Waterloo House for a quiet night's sleep.
