Kilgraney house is an elegant 19th Century Georgian country house set in five acres of manicured herb gardens on the eastern slopes of the Barrow valley in County Carlow. Halfway between Bagenalstown and Borris.

Kilgraney House and herb garden is set in rural County Carlow in the south east of Ireland. The house offers a unique blend of hospitality designed to indulge guest senses.

Play a game of croquet on the lawn or walk through the herb filled gardens. Dine in the cherub adorned dining room, relax in the drawing room by an open fire or indulge with an invigorating aromatherapy massage or a pampering facial at AromaSpa.

The interior provides an eclectic and chic marriage of Georgian country house and oriental style in a homely setting. Offering the comforts and facilities guests would expect from a small intimate setting.

Guest accommodation comprises of five comfortable bedrooms and all are furnished and decorated in their own unique style and all have ensuite bathroom facilities. All bedrooms are non-smoking rooms.

Breakfast is a lavish start to the day with fresh fruits and organic yoghurt, the famous orange and raisin pancakes with crème fraîche, followed by either a traditional Irish breakfast, scrambled egg with smoked salmon or baked egg with spinach.

Dinner is available on selected dates throughout the season (please check in advance) and the seven course table d'hôte dinner is served in the intimate cherub adorned dining room.

The AromaSpa is a bespoke aromatherapy centre in a restored apple storehouse in the gardens of Kilgraney. It offers an all-encompassing selection of treatments for both men and women that incorporate luxurious essential oil blends formulated by internationally renowned aromatherapy associates.

The herb gardens at Kilgraney consist of a series of interconnecting herbal gardens. There is a large kitchen garden, a tea walk, a medicinal herb courtyard, a medieval monastic herb garden and a garden of aromatic and fragrant herbs.
