The Foherish River is a tributary of the Sullane and holds small brown trout. It can be found flowing into the Laney River near the village of Macroom in County Cork.
Foherish River holds a good stock of small brown trout. The fishing is considered free, however Macroom and District Fly Anglers have a conservation interest in the river and should be supported.
The banks are very overgrown in places and open season runs from 15 February until 12 October.
