See what Ireland has in store for you
Relax on a fun one hour boat tour out to see the local celebrity “Fungie” the Dingle dolphin. On the trip out the harbour, look out for the local landmarks including Hussey’s Folly, Eask Tower, the Toureen Bán and the Lighthouse. If you have questions about anything that you notice, the guide or skipper will be happy to provide the answers. About five minutes after departure keep a sharp lookout as you are now entering Fungie territory. He spends a lot of time in the area from the middle of the harbour out to the lighthouse. At times you will have to go further if he is fishing out in Dingle Bay. Your experience with Fungie is dependent on what he wants to do. If he is feeling playful he will run alongside the boat and on occasions jump clear out of the water. On other days he will play hide and seek and pop up to have a look at who is looking at him. Whatever his plans for the day it is always a pleasure to meet him. If there is time towards the end of the tour, there may be a cruise along the cliffs outside the harbour for some sightseeing. Tours to see Fungie take about one hour and come with a guaranteed sighting or a full refund.
