Trim Visitor Centre Trim Visitor Centre is conveniently located beside Trim Castle. It is housed in the historical old town hall building. It houses the Medieval Armoury Tour, Trim Castle Tours in Winter and tourist information and a gift shop. Medieval Armoury Tour The Medieval Armoury Tour takes place here where history is brought back to life in an exciting way. All ages and interests will engage with and enjoy this tour. Meet a Norman Knight face to face, hold a real sword or wear Chainmail, this is a very interactive tour. Trim Castle Tours Summer Opening Hours (OPW Ticket Office at Trim Castle) Open daily Mid Feb - End Oct Winter Opening Hours From November 1st to Mid February, weekday tours of Trim Castle Grounds will be organised by Trim Living History Group. Tours are at 10:00 and 11:00. Access to Castle Grounds are with the permission from OPW'S Friends of Irish Heritage. Castle Keep is only accessible on Saturday and Sunday during November to February. Tickets at ticket office at Trim Castle. Visitor Centre and Tourist Information Opening times: Monday to Friday 09:30-17:30 The Visitor Centre also has provides tourist information for visitors to the Trim area and all around the Boyne Valley. A gift shop with local books and books on Ireland.
