Ballymalone More Cottage is situated on an elevated site overlooking the lower Shannon. It is an ideal location for those interested in walking, cycling, angling and other activities that the area has to offer. We include in our package the use of bicycles and cycling gear: i.e. high visibility vests, etc. A bicycle child seat is also available along with a bicycle carrier for a car. We also provide guided fishing tours, boat hire, lifejackets, fishing rods and wet gear. We are approximately 20 minutes from several golf courses, Castletroy in Limerick, Nenagh Golf Club and East Clare Golf Club in Bodyke. We are 15 minutes from The University of Limerick activity centre which is located in Killaloe. They have plenty of water and land based activities including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, orienteering and archery. There is also an equestrian centre in Ballina. There are some award winning restaurants in the area as well as local takeaways including Chinese and Indian cuisine. There are many pubs in the area, some with restaurants. The cottage is a bright, spacious, stone faced building. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will need including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The bathroom is spacious with an electric shower. The living area includes a T.V. and D.V.D. player and Sky T.V. There are two bedrooms consisting of a double/twin and a twin each with wardrobe space and lockers. We can also provide a travel cot if required. Internet access can also be provided on request. The property has ample parking space. The cottage is not wheelchair accessible.
