The Soyuz capsule is now on display at the Ulster Museum until 12 May 2019.

On 15 December 2015, British astronaut Tim Peake embarked on the Principia mission to the International Space Station, where he spent six months orbiting Earth—conducting experiments, walking in space, and even running a marathon. On 18 June 2016, Tim returned to Earth in the Soyuz TMA-19M descent module.

Now, Tim Peake’s Spacecraft, presented by Samsung and the Science Museum Group, is touring the UK and will land at the Ulster Transport Museum on 20 February. The display of the iconic craft will be accompanied by Space Descent VR supported by Samsung, a unique virtual reality adventure narrated by Tim Peake himself.

Visitors will be able to view the Spacecraft for free and take part in other paid-for activities such as VR Descent experience, science demonstrations and trails.
