Ocean View lies approximately six hundred yards from the pier on Inishturk Island. It has panoramic views of Killary Harbour and the twelve Bens mountains. It is a friendly, family run, B & B and caters for individuals and groups.
Inishturk Island rises boldly from the wild North Atlantic, off the County Mayo Coast, in wall like cliffs to the north west and steep hills to the north on which stands the ruins of the old signal tower 220m above sea level.
This ferry service operates daily from June to early September. Sailings from Roonagh Quay, Louisburgh, Co Mayo.
Tranaun House is situated on beaches of Tranaun and Curraun. There are stunning unbroken views across kilometres of unspoiled blue-green waters. Tea/coffee and freshly baked scones are provided on arrival at Tranaun House. 5 minute walk from Harbour.
