Having returned to the stage in 2018 for performances at the National Concert Hall and the Barbican, cult Cork band Microdisney will play a standing show at Vicar Street this coming February.
Cork's much-loved Microdisney reconvened in 2018 for concerts at the National Concert Hall and The Barbican Theatre in London where they performed their seminal 1985 record, The Clock Comes Down The Stairs.
Having been wowed by the reception to shows both in Dublin and across the water in the UK, the band have decided to take to the stage once again, performing a standing show (as opposed to a theatre-style show) in Vicar Street which will visit work from throughout their career.
The band's intelligent, articulate, and smartly arranged pop won the critics' hearts in the 1980s and the band has since become one of the great Irish cult acts, gaining new adorers with every passing year. Be quick as this one is almost certain to be a sell-out.
