The skies over Bray will burst into action with at the end of July with the return of the annual Bray Air Display, one of the most popular tourist events in the whole country.
The skies over Bray will burst into action with at the end of July with the return of the annual Bray Air Display, one of the most popular tourist events in the whole country. Last year’s edition of the festival attracted a staggering 140,000 people to Bray to watch the amazing aerial spectacle.
From noon each day activities will kick off all around the town of Bray, with a fun-fair, live music, food stalls, and even the opportunity to take a helicopter ride on offer – and that’s before you take into account the promenade, or a stroll on Bray Head.
The aerial acrobats who perform gravity-defying feats come from all over the world to Wicklow, such is draw of the Bray Air Display. Recent years have seen visits from the world famous Red Arrows and the Frecce Tricolori. There will also be a huge variety of different makes of plane on display for those spotters out there.
The Bray Air Display makes for a wonderful summer day out for all the family, with the whole town buzzing for the visit of these wizards of the wing.
