The River Moy is one of Ireland's premier salmon rivers and is the ideal river for the game angler. Its entire length, of just over 1.5 miles is located within the Ballina Town boundaries in County Mayo.
Lough Conn is located in Ballina, County Mayo and is a game angling lake. It has large stocks of fighting brown trout which attract the angler.
Mount Falcon Fisheries is part of the Mount Falcon Country House Hotel and Estate in Ballina, County Mayo. It is located 6 miles upstream from the Moy estuary and hence guarantees a constant supply of fresh fish throughout the season.
The Moy Fishery controls both banks downstream of the weir in Ballina, County Mayo and a short stretch above the weir. It is one of Ireland’s most productive salmon fisheries where catches of over 5,000 salmon have been recorded in a season.
The Owenmore River drains a large area of north-west Mayo into Tullaghan Bay. The river holds spring fish from February. The grilse come in early June, and the river gets a good run of autumn fish from late August.
Cloonamoyne Fishery is located on the shores of Lough Conn in County Mayo and provides an angling service for both the dedicated angler and the real beginner. Lough Conn holds a good stock of brown trout and some salmon.
