Veteran UK rock outfit Queen will play a massive open-air concert in Rathfarnham’s Marlay Park this summer as a part of an expansive European tour.

They will be joined by former American Idol star Adam Lambert on lead vocals. While filling the shoes of the late, great Queen frontman, singer, and pianist Freddie Mercury is an unenviable task, Lambert has proved an adept replacement for the unique talent of Mercury.

Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will be keeping the spirit of the original band alive as they bring to life the theatrical and hard-rocking music of the band’s lengthy back catalogue.

Having rocked the 3Arena just last November, Queen are sure to be a big smash this summer when they visit Marlay Park.
