Celebrate Clonmel's unique sense of place by exploring its natural & build heritage, offering quality cultural experiences & public events that promote quality food & crafts and healthy convivial living.
The festival celebrates Clonmel and its untapped well of stories and experiences. By celebrating the humble apple and its relationship to the land, soil, water, bees, health and the local traditions and industries, the festival offers people from all walks of life the opportunity to engage at various levels of expertise, interests and knowledge: by firing their imagination and galvanising support for the various public events, organisers hope to highlight Clonmel’s rich heritage & artisan food production, as well as its largely unknown natural treasures such as the new Suir Blueway along the old river towpath.
Clonmel Applefest aims to bring a multi-faceted and textured event that can be enjoyed equally by people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
