Cavan Crystal Hotel provides luxury accommodation on the outskirts of Cavan Town. Its eye catching interior design conveys a contemporary outlook, but inside there is also a sense of warmth and hospitality. The hotel has 85 beautifully appointed bedrooms including two junior suites and the impressive Presidential Suite. All rooms are finished with dark oak wood and warm, inviting colours. In addition to its lavish guest rooms, Cavan Crystal hotel offers magnificent dining at the Opus One Restaurant, which has been awarded two AA rosettes. The restaurant uses local ingredients to prepare Irish cuisine with a modern twist. For a social drink, guests can stop into Atrium Bar, where they’ll find light snacks and beverages as well as live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Guests can work off their culinary indulgence at the Zest Health and Fitness Club, a White Flag awarded facility. It comprises 18 metre pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fully equipped gymnasium. There’s also the award winning Utopia Health and Beauty Clinic, which offers a range of treatments like hot stone massage, mud wraps, facials and pamper packages. During a stay at Cavan Crystal, guests can find a multitude of ways to pass the time. The area features golf clubs, equestrian centres and a children’s activity centre. Those interested in local heritage won’t want to miss the Cavan County Museum Ballyjamesduff and the Cavan Genealogical Research Centre, while the fascinating Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark is a little further afield.
