The National Disabled Angling Facility (NDAF) is a fishing for all, put and take fishing lake in beautiful Aughrim, Co. Wicklow. Situated 50 minutes drive from Dublin and 20 minutes drive from Arklow.
The National Disabled Angling Facility consists of a 4 acre lake within an 8 acre riverside park with panoramic views overlooking the surrounding Wicklow hills.
This award winning facility is completely wheelchair accessible and open to the general public and welcomes tour groups as well as the individual fishing enthusiast. The lake is stocked with game fish sourced from a local fish farm. You can bring your own fishing rods and bait or, alternatively, you can hire rods and purchase bait at the facility. The NDAF Aughrim also has regular promotions and fishing competitions which are advertised on our Facebook page or on the Aughrim website.
Open everyday from 9am until 5pm. Adult €7, children €6, students €6 and senior citizens €6. Large groups should pre-book by calling the National Disabled Angling Facility. There is car parking space for fifteen to twenty cars and toilets on site.
Other facilities at the lake are a thrift shop (open Tuesday to Friday, 10am until 1pm, 2pm until 4pm and Saturday 11am until 2pm). A playground, a bowling green and Aughrim Town and Country Market (open every Saturday 11am until 2pm).
