Fanningstown Castle is a luxurious Irish Castle vacation rental located in Adare, County Limerick. The castle which dates from the 12th Century offers four star self-catering accommodation for ten guests in this beautifully restored historical castle in the heart of Ireland's Golden Vale farming region. Situated only 40 minutes drive from Shannon Airport, Fanningstown Castle is the perfect venue for family vacations or family reunions, for romantic weekend breaks, for your golf vacation in Ireland or for small intimate family weddings (Fanningstown also offer civil wedding ceremonies in the Library, a lovely romantic setting for a small wedding). The castle itself comprises of five double bedrooms (three of which can be made up as twins), three reception rooms, three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, which opens out on to an enclosed patio area with gas grill and outdoor seating. There is complimentary WiFi throughout. We also have high chairs & travel cots and the castle is a wonderful place for little people to explore & have fun. This holiday will certainly remain in their minds when reminiscing on family gatherings in years to come. Enjoy golf, private fishing on the River Maigue, horse riding, horse racing and clay pigeon shooting together with a selection of great restaurants in Adare. Fanningstown Castle is also very centrally located for taking day trips to Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Bunratty Castle, the Rock of Cashel and many more places of cultural and historical interest.
