This event, co-hosted by Douglas Hyde Gallery and Science Gallery Dublin, will be the Irish premiere of Donna Haraway: Story-Telling For Earthly Survival, a 2016 documentary directed by Fabrizio Terranova.

Haraway remains a leading academic whose fascinating work traverses a number of different areas of study in both the humanities and the sciences. She routinely discusses biology, gender, social studies, class, technology, and much else in her work.

Terranova’s documentary makes extensive use of green screen projections, archival materials, and fabulation to create a eccentric text in response to this extremely original mind. This screening will be prefaced by an introduction by the artist Julia Dubsky, whose exhibition takes place concurrently in Temple Bar Gallery + Studios as the culmination of her Recent Graduate Residency Award.
