A unique food tour around the scenic Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.

Coast and Country Tour: (6 hour bused tour departing from Coleraine VIC entrance Town Hall at 09.30)

This guided tour will showcase some of the best local produce and hidden gems the North Coast has to offer. Sit back, relax and savour the flavours that make this area so unique.

We will be making 5 stops along the beautiful Causeway Coastal Route with each one offering a delicious & surprising taste experience! These include sample tasting at the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, feasting on local fish prepared by fabulous chefs and a stop at an award winning farm where you will see first-hand how produce is reared for our plates.

The Causeway Coast has a wealth of artisan food and drink producers. This tour will focus on discovering new products and hearing the fascinating stories behind them.

Starting at the Visitor Information Centre in Coleraine, the tour by luxury midicoach will last for approximately 6 hours. You will have the chance to sample local food and drinks at each stop so please come hungry! After lunch our coach will return you to Coleraine. Enjoy this time together to eat, discover and take home foodie goodies and see for yourself why this area is our food heaven.

Catch and Sea Tour: (Sunrise fishing and breakfast trip departing from North Pier Portrush Harbour 06.30)

Leaving Portrush Harbour, just before daybreak in The Causeway Lass, we will catch our breakfast in the crystal clear waters of the Causeway Coast, as the sun slowly rises over The Mull of Kintyre and Rathlin Island.

With the exception of waterproof clothing and suitable footwear, all fishing equipment and bait is provided along with tuition as to its use. During the trip tea and coffee will be available.

Your breakfast will be dependent on the variety of fish caught, but Mackerel Surprise is almost certain to be on the menu. The fun of fishing is, ‘you never can tell!’

At this time of the morning we may well encounter dolphins, basking sharks etc. so it is advisable to bring along a camera.

Having caught, cleaned and learned about the days catch; we will head to Babushka, where our bounty will be prepared and paired with local, seasonal produce to create a breakfast to be enjoyed overlooking the West Strand. We are excited to be able to work with local providers to share this unique opportunity with you.
