The garden runs to the very edge of the water and a private boat dock. This is a bright and spacious home, with large lake view suites available. All rooms are on the ground floor with individual access from the garden. This is an ideal base for the outdoor enthusiast - here, you are well placed for activities such as angling/boating (there is an angling/boating centre on site), golf - there is the local 18-hole Oughterad Golf Course, and others within one hour's drive, hill walking (the famous Western Way begins in Oughterard), horse riding and sightseeing from the Cliffs of Moher to Westport, the Aran Islands and Connemara and everything in between - you will marvel at the breathtaking beauty of our region.

Angling/Boating on site:
here are boats and engines for hire, for fishing or pleasure boating, maps, information and life jackets given with all boats. Guides can be arranged for fishing or exploring, for groups of between 4 and 10 persons - enquire about our lake safari - guide and self-drive boats and engines can be provided. Rod and rain gear can be hired. Maps and local information given. Trout, salmon fishing and all-season anglers catered for. Sea angling can also be arranged for residents. Lifejackets are mandatory and provided with all boats.
