Finger Pickin’ Good – Bluegrass Omagh’s three-day festival returns to Ulster American Folk Park in May 2020
Bluegrass Omagh, the largest bluegrass festival outside of North America, returns this year to the Ulster American Folk Park - this time in May - with a jam-packed weekend of the best in bluegrass and old-time music in the unique setting of the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh.
This year’s festival, taking place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May, will bring together fifteen international bands playing on six stages over the three days. Artists will hail from North America, Australia and Europe, including some of the very best bluegrass acts from across the UK and Ireland.
Festival organisers have announced the 2020 headline act will be the multi award-winning Appalachian Roadshow, direct from the USA. The group seeks to honour the music, traditions and history of the Appalachian people and regions as much as it does to forge its own fresh musical and entertainment trails.
Also confirmed for the line-up are Jonathan Byrd and The Pickup Cowboys from North Carolina. Between heart-breaking ballads and heart-lifting sing-alongs, the Cowboys entertain and get audiences involved in the show.
An early bird discount on tickets is now available for Bluegrass Omagh 2020 only until 31 January 2020. Visit www.nmni.com/bluegrass-tickets to book now.
