Ballyhoura Falconry aim to share with you the pleasure and excitement of falconry, giving you the unique opportunity to interact with these totally fascinating creatures yourself! Spend a few unforgettable hours there and you won't be disappointed.
Ballyhoura Falconry are passionately committed to education, rehabilitation, and conservation of our native Irish wildlife and the wellbeing of all the birds and animals there.
They have been training and flying birds of prey for over 30 years. A visit is a unique experience; this is not a centre where you just wander around and look, but home to over 100 birds of prey, and numerous other birds and animals. You will be able to interact with some of the birds, handle them and be involved in free flying several birds during your visit.
Seeing birds and animals on TV and in zoos and wildlife parks can be enjoyable but if you want something more meaningful, Ballyhoura Falconry can really unlock the magic of nature for you. An informal, interactive, hands on approach gives you a wealth of experiences to treasure.
Ballyhoura Falconry is not a commercial centre, and by visiting you are also helping to fund rescue work, under Animal Magic Wildlife Rescue.
Open by appointment only. Contact Ballyhoura Falconry to book your visit.
