Witness the epic tale of three generations of one family and the love, humour and tragedy that defines them all.

Witness the epic tale of three generations of one family and the love, humour and tragedy that defines them all at The Mai, Decadent Theatre Company's latest powerful production.

Centring on forty-year-old teacher The Mai, this production follows her experience of the dissolution of her seventeen-year marriage; after her musician husband Robert leaves her, The Mai sets about decorating a dream house in the hope that he will one day return.

On the banks of Owl Lake, for four years, she waits.

You won't be able to tear your eyes from this tale of heartache, reunion, and the ways in which the past is never truly in the past.

With a cast of unforgettable characters played by Derbhle Crotty, Stella McCusker, and Maeve FitzGerald, directed by Andrew Flynn, the story of The Mai will stay with you long after the curtain has closed.
