Legendary electronic act Autechre will make a rare live appearance in Ireland when they perform this July in the National Concert Hall in complete darkness.

Autechre is comprised of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, who formed the group in Rochdale, Greater Manchester in 1987. Autechre have, alongside labelmate Aphex Twin, shaped the sound of electronic music in the UK by being at its cutting edge for more than two decades.

Their music grew from club-specific genres like techno and electro as found on their 1993 debut Incunabula into something more avant-garde and experimental, resulting in classic releases like Tri Repetae and LP5.

This will be a full sonic immersion in live electronic music from some of the greatest artists in the history of the genre.
