Release your inner archaeologist as we launch our summer dig days at Carrickfergus Castle.

Every Monday during July and August you can visit Carrickfergus Castle and uncover replica artefacts beneath the sand as we launch our summer dig days. Release your inner archaeologist and discover coins, jewels, pottery and bones in our dig boxes. Guaranteed to be a fun filled family day out.

With spectacular views of Belfast Lough, this magnificent Norman castle has been an imposing monument on the Nothern Ireland landscape for more than 800 years, not to mention one of its most famous. It played an important military role right up until 1928 and remains one of the best preserved medieval structures in Ireland. But don't let us tell you all about it, come see for yourself.

Included in the price of admission.
