The trip starts at the centres private pier at Killary Adventure Centre on the shores of Killary Fjord.

History is all around you as you travel along this ancient waterway. From here the tour continues back along the southern side of the Fjord to the Killary Sheep Farm. This is a traditional, working Connemara sheep farm offering you a unique insight into the life and work of a local farmer. Tom who was born and bred on the farm guides all the tours and with his trusty sheep dogs gives a wonderful experience of the unique farming methods of the hardy Connemara hill farmers.
