Established more than 40 years ago, The Wicklow Heather Restaurant and is idyllically situated in the picturesque village of Laragh, deep in the Wicklow Mountains. It is only minutes from the world-renowned historic site of Glendalough, while the bustle of Dublin City is less than an hour away.

The restaurant offers a blend of traditional Irish and continental cuisine. All dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced organic produce where possible.
Signature dishes include confit of duck with Clonakilty black pudding with a poached hen egg and mustard hollandaise; pan-fried chump of Wicklow lamb served on a bed of champ with a rich rosemary jus; and delicious free-range Irish chicken roasted with a lemon and herb stuffing with a light chicken gravy served with steamed baby carrots.
The well-chosen wine list includes a wide range of champagnes and sparkling wines. There are also a number of cocktails and aperitifs on offer.
