Tyrrellspass Castle is the major focal point of Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath and is situated on the west side of the village, on the N6 Dublin to Galway road, Co. While here, take the time to browse through our museum and gift shop.

Through the castle's unique Medieval design, an intimate setting is offered for all your dining or party requirements. Friendly staff can facilitate your needs in any way and will do everything in their power to make your experience a memorable one. The castle maintains many different rooms which include the coffee shop, main restaurant, Kirby Room, lounge room and a recently refurbished function room on the second floor.
The Medieval banquet at Tyrrellspass Castle has been developed along the same lines as the world famous Bunratty banquet, albeit on a smaller, more intimate scale. The banquet is unique to the midlands and is proving very popular with visitors and locals alike as it combines a night of delicious foods and quality Irish entertainment in this intimate, Medieval setting.
As will be evident from the 5 course dinner menu, food is of particular importance to the enjoyment of this evening. Throughout the night a selection of traditional Irish music is played by talented artists, the programme also includes vocal arrangements from the "Fear An Tigh".
Tour groups can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks or grills through the day in this unique historic listed building. Open 7 days a week, 364 days of the year from 9.00am until 8.30pm.
