Finnerty's Mills is a restored corn mill with working waterwheel. The Mill is part of our industrial heritage being a recorded monument.

Finnerty's Mills is a peaceful rural location with the mill situated on a working farm and the Cappagh river meandering by. Both the corn mill and its operational waterwheel have been restored according to best conservation practice. The mill, which dates from the 1700's, is a recorded monument and an important part of our industrial heritage. It has been run by the same family for generations. The milling equipment i.e. gears, cogs, wheels, quern stones, mill furniture and sack hoist are all in situ. The mill house and mill stores are adjacent to the mill and all buildings are stone built.

The mill is situated on the road side facilitating easy access and there is ample car/bus parking room. For morning visits, please email or phone to arrange.
