Come face to face with dinosaurs, meet an Egyptian Mummy and see modern masterpieces with a visit to the Ulster Museum. As Northern Ireland’s treasure house of the past and present, the museum is home to a rich collection of art, history and natural sciences and free to all visitors. From Ireland to the South Pacific, ancient relics to hands on activities, the museum offers something for everyone from the simply curious to the enthusiast.
The museum has a wider offering of events throughout the year, from exciting children's festivals and interest talks and exhibitons, there is something for all ages.
The Ulster Museum will present Weeping Window by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper as part of 14-18 NOW's UK-wide tour of the iconic poppies. The installation will be at the Ulster Museum from 14 October to 3 December 2017, following a joint proposal by National Museums Northern Ireland and Belfast International Arts Festival.
