Lismore Heritage Centre

In the Lismore Heritage Centre, the town’s Celtic origins are on view in the historical display room. The story of Lismore, dating from 636 AD, is told in an award winning multi-lingual, audio-visual presentation narrated by Niall Toibin. Hear about Monastic Lismore, Vikings, Normans, Walter Raleigh, Lismore Castle, Cathedral and Church. New exhibition galleries opened in 2004, including room dedicated to the life & works of Robert Boyle, the scientist.

Adults: €5.00. Senor/Student: €4.50. Child:€3.50. Family:€15.00.
Guided Tours:
Guided tour of the town which also includes the Lismore Experience @ €5.00 also available.

Mon-Fri:9:30am - 5:30pm (All Year) Sat: 10am - 5:30pm (April -Oct) Sun: 12pm - 5:30pm (May-Oct) Closed for lunch 1pm.-2pm.(Nov. - March)
