Brittas Bay Blue Flag Beach
Brittas Bay is the most popular beach in Wicklow. It has a 5 km stretch of beautiful white sand dunes and clean beaches and has won & maintained the Blue Flag for many years now. It is ideal for bathing, sailing & walking. Brittas has a 3.2km stretch of powedery sand & sand dune system which is a designated area of significant interest as they are home to many interesting wildlife speciwes & plants.

- Lifeguards: Lifeguards on duty from the 1st June - 31st August each year from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On site facilities: public toilets and car parks. Car park opening/closing times & charges - €4.00 for full day,8 am to 10 pm during summer season, €2.00 from 9 am to dark during winter season. Regulations on dog restrictions - dogs are allowed on beach but must be on a lead and under strict supervision of the owner. Owners must clean up after their dogs.
